Mayor’s Court Update

With the exception of Review hearings which have been rescheduled for 5/13/2020 at 2:00 PM, Crestline Mayor’s Court Hearings will proceed as scheduled.

Continuances will be available to those to wish to waive their right to a speedy trial and those court appearances will be rescheduled for a date in May. Requests for a continuance can be made by calling Village Hall at 419-683-3800 or by emailing the clerk of court at afruth@crestlineoh.com. Continuances can be either emailed or faxed to the person requesting the continuance and must be signed and returned in the same manner.   Continuance requests must be made prior to the date of appearance to allow for time to receive, sign and send back to the court electronically.

Defendants are expected to arrive at their previously scheduled time of appearance and will be allowed in the building to sign in for court a few at a time.  The first 5 defendants who arrive will be taken immediately into the court room.  The next 5 defendants will wait in the lobby of Crestline Village Hall.  Anyone who signs in after the first 10 defendants will be asked to write down a cell phone number and proceed to the parking lot to wait in their vehicle until called in.  They will be called in 5 at a time.

Only the scheduled defendants will be allowed in the building.  Visitors including family members, children, and friends will not be allowed access to the building.

Defendants can still pay the waivers on waiverable citations either through the drop box in our parking lot or online at https://crestlineoh.com/
