The Village of Crestline Mayor’s Court is responsible for the court operations of the Village of Crestline. The Magistrate is appointed by the Mayor with consent of Village Council. The Village of Crestline Mayor’s Court is responsible for hearing misdemeanors and traffic violations in Ohio communities with no municipal court of record and populations of more than 200 people. Mayor’s court hearings are held before the mayor or an appointed magistrate. The court adheres to a strict conduct of punctuality and a dress code during court proceedings.
